Visit the Tortuguero National Park beach at night where we can observe the natural process of laying the eggs. We pick you up in your hotel or in our meeting location found in the Tortuguero Main Boat Area in Tortuguero Village. Then we will either walk or take a boat depending on the available sector the National Park tells assigns. Once we arrive to the sector we must visit, we will follow the strict rules established by the person in charge. We must wear all dark colors to avoid any disturbance in the beach to the turtle, if it is not possible because you are not carrying, please put on a ponchos, jacket, coat or any similar to avoid being rejected from the beach. When we finished we will take you back to the hotel or meeting location by walking or by boat are done before.
This tour has very strict rules, camera flashes are NOT permitted, cell phones are NOT allowed, flashlights are NOT allowed, follow the instructions of the guide and park ranger. You must wear dark color clothes ONLY, if you need a poncho, sweeter or jacket must wear it from the beginning. DO NOT touch or disturb the turtles! in case of a rule violation you will be scouted out of the beach.
Important: We never guarantee a schedule, we try to do the best to get availability on the schedule requested but it depends on National Park Administration and their availability. We will confirm the schedule we were assigned in the afternoon around 5:00 PM.

In the discovery tour we visit different areas in the National Park and in the outskirts. We combine this activity from a boat tour and a hike in the Tortuguero Hill. You can take a look at the native village of San Francisco. By combining the boat tour and hike you can get the best of the channels and rivers and the best from the ground jungle tropical forest. We will pick you up in your hotel or meeting location and then start the adventure.
We enter the National Park, we make the tour we look for animals like; Monkeys, Caimans, Crocodiles, Iguanas, Toucans, Anhingas, Herons, Otters, snakes, Sloths, Hawks, etc. After 2, 3, hours in Boat We will go for a walk on the trail which is close to the river-mouth. We walk along the path of the Hill looking for animals and talking about Plants. It has steps to make it easier to go up and down. Then a short pass through the town of San Francisco.
